Wedding Photography at Easthampstead Park
Darren & Gemma were married at the beautiful Easthampstead Park which is a beautiful mansion near Bracknell in the Berkshire countryside. The mansion has huge grounds, always a bonus for photo opportunities. Even if you aren’t blessed with good weather there are great indoor opportunities with lots of original features including a lovely staircase and stained glass window. This is why I love photographing Easthampstead Park weddings.
Pre Ceremony preparations
The bridal preparations took place at Gemma’s parents house in nearby Wokingham, which is where the day started. The beautiful hair styling was by Claire at Bridal Hair. All the girls were very relaxed and having fun. It always helps when there is a cute little one running around to take your mind off things. We met Darren at Easthampstead park a little later knowing there had been a family sickness bug doing the rounds. Darren was feeling a little tender mixed in with a little nerves which thankfully did get better throughout the day. I think seeing Gemma walk down the isle instantly perked him up.
The ceremony and a great party
It was a beautiful wedding ceremony, very emotional and you could just feel the love in the room. After the ceremony we were lucky that we managed to get some time outside as the weather hadn’t been great in the run up to the big day. This meant we could utilise the fantastic grounds at Easthampstead Park for the family formal photos and for photos of the newly married couple.
After what was a great meal and some funny speeches the celebrations continued well into the night with some brilliant live music. This wedding was a real pleasure to photograph, the team at Easthampstead park did a great job and thanks to Darren and Gemma for allowing me to be part of their most special day. Here are a few photos from the day.
